If the GOP gained control of Congress, Kinzinger thinks the House would vote to impeach Biden every week.

Kinzinger made this statement on a CNN show.

"Just some crazies, you know, every vote we took, we had to defund ObamaCare," he said.

The American Health Care Act had a damaging effect on patient care.

"That's going to look like child's play in regards to what Marjorie Taylor Greene is going to demand of Kevin McCarthy," Kinzinger said.

He joked that they would demand an impeachment vote on Biden every week.

A right-wing lawmaker from Georgia has made impeachment of Biden a part of her official platform.

The president has been impeached on a number of occasions.

On January 21, 2021, on the day Biden took office, a resolution was filed to impeach the president. She accused Biden of "dereliction of duty" over the US pullout from Afghanistan.

Biden is accused of endangering the energy security of the United States by selling oil from the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve to foreign nations.

The US has sold oil to other countries before. The US was a net importer of oil in 2020 and 2021.

Kinzinger speculated that McCarthy wouldn't be able to do much if he was nominated for Speaker.

There has been a push from the GOP's far right to replace McCarthy.

It would take just five or six Republicans to deny McCarthy the post of Speaker if there was a narrow GOP majority.

All of them can do that. I know the members of the Freedom Caucus well and they will turn their backs on McCarthy.

"I think it's going to be very difficult for him to govern unless he just chooses to go crazy with them," said Kinzinger.

I don't know if you will see the rise of the silent, non-existent moderate Republican that may still exist out there.
