17-year-old Raul Rosas Jr. vows to be UFC champ at 20 (0:58)

The UFC fighter says he will be a champion at 20. There is a time and a place.

A fighter who is just shy of his 18th birthday is going to be a part of the UFC.

On Tuesday night, the youngest fighter in the UFC signed with the organization. The teen was offered a contract by White before the end of the show. The youngest fighter on the series isRosas.

White has never seen anything like it. The amount of fighters blowing me up said you are crazy not to sign him. He's a really good talent. He's unique.

The 25-year-old Gutierrez was dominated by the 21-year-oldRosas for most of the fight. He used a Suloev stretch submission in the first round. The man tookRosas down and landed some ground and pound. Most of the time,Rosas would end up in the better position because of his dexterity, skill and creativity on the ground.

"I knew I was going to get that contract," saidRosas. I've been saying that for a long time. I knew this was going to happen since I was a baby.

Before Tuesday night,Rosas had completed all of his previous opponents. The Mexican-born fighter trains out of Las Vegas.

Dan Lauzon is the youngest fighter to ever compete in the UFC. IfRosas steps into the UFC within the next 218 days, he will beat that mark.

The man is talking about winning titles. Jon Jones was the youngest UFC champ.

Rosas said that everybody shouldn't be surprised. I'm the new king and I'm going to get that belt now. When I'm 20, I'm going to be a champion. I'm going to be champion when I'm 20. No one is going to stop me.
