The launch of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max has caused some early users of the devices to experience an issue that prevents them from being heard at a suitable volume during calls.
Over the past three to four days, affected users have documented this problem on a number of websites. The majority of the users said that their voice sounded quiet or far away on the receiving end of the call after using the CarPlay feature on their Apple device.
MacRumors was able to reproduce the issue by making a phone call in a Honda Civic with an Apple device. The issue wasn't caused by a regular hands-free call with the same device in the car.
It's not clear what the cause of the issue is or how many users are affected, but it seems to be yet another bug affecting the models. There are a number of issues with the rear camera on the iPhone 14 Pro that will be fixed in the next update.
The company did not respond to our request for comment after we asked if it was aware of the issue. We will let you know if Apple responds to this issue as it becomes available.
