James' hair has been the focus of meme for a long time, with the ball player once laughing at a meme that compared his thin hair to a Reese's peanut butter cup.
Fans rushed to praise the Lakers star for his new look after he posted a photo on his account of himself with a caption that said, "Bald bron."
A user wrote "welcome to the baldside my brother we have been waiting for you" Your beard is going to be the center of attention.
bron went bald, said another user. He is going to win the Most Valuable Player.
One user said that Bald Bron is the last form of greatness and that we should have a bald awareness month.
Some weren't so sure about the star's new appearance.
James may have used a filter to fool people into thinking he is bald, as a number of fans questioned the validity of his hair.
