Customers who ordered the Apple Watch Ultra have had their delivery date pushed back by Apple. It's not clear how many customers are affected.

Orders that have been delayed in the US have been received by Mac Rumors. An order with an estimated delivery range of September 29 to October 6 was pushed back to October 4 and an order with an estimated delivery range of September 29 to October 6 was pushed back to October 11.

Pre-orders for the Apple Watch Ultra began on September 9. While not reflected on Apple's website yet, some orders have been marked as shipped via United Parcel Service's tracking tool, with U.S. shipments passing through Alaska and Kentucky as usual.

The Apple Watch Ultra comes with a titanium case and cellular connection. The Alpine loop, Trail loop, and Ocean band are available in three colors, with the only option being the band.

The Apple Watch Ultra features a rugged design with a 49mm titanium case, a larger display with a flat sapphire crystal cover, and new bands designed for the outdoors.
