The Turks and Caicos could be in for major damage. According to the National Hurricane Center, the big island of Grand Turk was hit by a Category 3 storm on Tuesday morning. The weather is expected to be nice in the area.

Since the government signed a contract with LUMA to take over management of the electric grid, hundreds of residents have protested. According to the Wall Street Journal, Puerto Rican officials may be rethinking the deal. According to the Journal, some in the government are preparing for the contract to be canceled early because LUMA's initial contract is expected to be extended for 15 years. According to the Journal, the government is concerned that it will be hard to find another operator to agree to a better deal if it ends the contract.
