The 14th row of the south transept was mocked by Trump in a series of posts on his Truth Social platform.

The position shows how far the US has fallen on the world stage.

The arrangement showed no respect to the U.S. and offered Biden the chance to network with leaders of third world countries.

It is not clear what third world leaders Trump was referring to, as the Bidens sat next to the president of Switzerland, the president of Poland, and the president of South Korea.

If he were still in office, organizers would have sat him further forward.

They wouldn't have sat me back there if I were president. In real estate, location is everything.

Trump, a reported fan of the late queen, has historically shown a lack of respect towards royal protocol. These comments, which ignore the strict way seating is arranged for those attending the funeral, particularly with regard to visiting royalty and dignitaries from Commonwealth nations or those where the queen was head of state, further demonstrate a failure to understand the different rules at play. Other world leaders were asked to travel commercially and were collectively bussed in from another location, but the Bidens were allowed to travel in their own limo and jet. The Bidens were seated so far back because of this arrangement. The president was late to the funeral due to traffic and had to wait for the procession to finish before he took his seat.

What To Watch For

Only current heads of state were invited to the state funeral of the queen due to space constraints. The queen's life was celebrated by around 2,000 people at the abbey. A memorial service for living U.S. presidents will be held in Washington, D.C.

The funeral of the century is where world leaders are.
