A California-based YouTuber said he traveled to Panama, Central America, to film a video with MrBeast, and described the experience as awkward because crew members were constantly filming him.
Ludwig Ahgren, also known as "Ludwig", has 3.5 million subscribers on the video sharing website. He teased in the September 9 episode of "The Yard" that he would be collaborating with MrBeast, who has 104 million subscribers on the video sharing website.
According to Ahgren, the filming took place in Panama, which is roughly 2,950 miles from his home in Los Angeles.
They used it for 90 seconds of the video after 24 hours of living. He said that he had to play up to the cameras while filming with Mr.Beast.
He said it was awkward because they were constantly filming and he had to be on for a stretch.
A collaboration between Ahrgen and MrBeast set in Panama has not been posted on either of the YouTubers' channels. Ahgren appeared to tease the collaboration in a series of pictures on the social networking site.
Donaldson is one of the highest paid creators on the internet. Up to hundreds of featured guests are involved in the extravagant, high-budget contests he posts on YouTube.
Donaldson recreated the set from the series "Squid Game" and invited 454 people to compete for a prize of almost $500,000. On September 3, he posted a video in which he played hide-and-seek with 100 of his subscribers and gave them a chance to win $10,000 by evading capture.
Donaldson told The Verge that he funds such projects by putting money into new videos on the video sharing site. He said that every dollar he's ever made has come from YouTube.
Donaldson and Ahgren have filmed several video collaborations together in the past, such as when they played a game of poker against one another.
Ahgren made a name for himself on streaming platform twitch with his gaming content. In the year 2021, Ahgren pivoted from Twitch to YouTube and launched a game show called Mogul Money, which featured famous streamers such as Pokimane and Mizkif as contestants. The show's concept was similar to American gameshow "Jeopardy!" with contestants having to submit answers to a question in the form of a question.
Ahgren and Donaldson did not reply.
