The Buffalo Bills took care of business in the first game of a Monday night football game. After the Bills scored on the opening drive, they were held without a point for the rest of the game.

Buffalo Bills

If the Bills' opener was a statement, the home opener was an exclamation point. The quarterback and wide receiver are off to a great start thanks to the Josh Allen - Stefon Diggs connection.

Jerry Rice was the only player with at least three three-touchdown catches on Monday Night Football. The Bills put up 24 points in the third quarter to take control of the game against theTitans.

Buffalo is 2-0 for the third time in the last four seasons after having three 2-0 starts in the previous 15 seasons, and it was the team's first home win since 1994.

Allen had a lot of success on play-action. The four play-action passing touchdown he scored are the most in his career and the most theTitans have allowed in a game in the last seven years. Allen's 14 completions on play-action throws were the second most of his career, and his 219 yards on play-action were the third most.

It looked like the Bills would have to punt for the first time this season early in the third quarter. The offense was backed up at their own 16-yard line on third-and-16. On third-and-9, Allen threw the ball to the middle of the field. The play kept the drive going and eventually led to a three- score lead.

There was a lot of injuries in the win over theTitans. When Jackson was hit by his teammate, he was taken off of the field in an ambulance. Safety Micah Hyde left the field on a cart with a neck injury, and other players were injured.

The Bills have scored a touchdown on the opening drive in each of the last seven games, which is the longest streak since the Falcons in 2016 (eight straight).

The next game is at the Dolphins. CBS airs on Sunday.

Tennessee Titans

TheTitans were outclassed in a big way. The loss to the Packers in Week 15 of the 2020 season was the team's worst loss.

The Bills outgained theTitans by a wide margin. The game was already out of reach when Ryan Tannehill was removed.

It was the first time this season that a rookies played quarterback. The ball came loose when one of his teammates knocked him into the ground.

The courses for the Eagles and Vikings were set by a draft pick.
