According to a report, the Phoenix Suns are shopping a veteran player.
On Monday's episode of NBA Today, Brian Windhorst stated that the team has been very active in searching for trades for the forward. The Suns could bring back money from the deal in order to add or retain another player, according to Windhorst.
He will make $10.2 million in the final season of his three-year contract with the Suns. In 67 games in the year 2021, he averaged 9.4 points, 5.3 rebound and 1.4 steal.
He's known for his defense and his ability to stretch the floor. The 32-year-old is highly regarded for his locker room presence and moving him would help further the Suns' title ambitions.
Windhorst said that he would not be surprised if Phoenix entered negotiations with the Utah Jazz for Bojan Bogdanovi, who is also available on the market. After nearly losing center Deandre Ayton to free agency, the Suns are working on a contract extension for swingman Cam Johnson.
The best team in the regular season was the Phoenix Suns, who finished with a 64-18 record. The Suns were hoping to return to the NBA Finals for a second year in a row, but they lost in the Western Conference Semifinals to the Dallas Mavericks.
