According to reports, Leonard Williams, a defensive end for the New York Giants, has a left knee injury.

It's not expected to be much, according to Ian Rapoport. The diagnosis was better than it could be, according to the Giants head coach.

Williams left the game in the third quarter with a knee injury and didn't come back. He told reporters after the game that he didn't think it was going to be too bad.

Since he was drafted by the New York Jets in 2015, Williams has been an incredibly durable player. He's missed just one game in his entire career and he's developed into a leader since joining the Giants.

Williams had 18 sacks in his first two seasons. In his four years with the Jets, he had totaled 17 He was named a defensive co- captain by the Giants.

Another blow to the Giants is an injury to Williams. The first two games of New York's season were played without both of its starting edge-rushers.

Nick Williams, who played 17 games for the Detroit Lions last season, is expected to replace Williams in the lineup.
