The chief operating officer of Beyond Meat Inc. was arrested on allegations that he bit a man's nose after a college football game.
Doug Ramsey was charged with terroristic threatening and third degree battery. According to a report by local station KNWA/KFTA, Ramsey was at a parking garage when a car in front of him came into contact with his front tire.
Ramsey got out of his car and hit the back of the car. The Beyond Meat executive bit the owner of the car on the nose and punched him after he left the car. He made threats to kill the other man.
Court records show that the executive was released on a bond.
His arrest is the latest blow to the plant-based company, which last month slashed its revenue outlook for the year and said it would cut 4% of its workforce
Ramsey and Beyond Meat didn't reply to questions. So far this year, the company's shares are down 74 percent.
