The Brooklyn Nets lost to the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs, but Irving thinks it was a good experience.

"We got four, my G," Irving said on twitch. Going against the Celtics gave us that experience. It was already planned to be that match up.

The Nets will see them again in the future, according to him.

Brooklyn was expected to be one of the most talented teams in the league.

There were enough notable pieces in the supporting cast to challenge for a championship, and the trio of Kevin, Irving and James were enough to defeat most teams.

That wasn't the case.

Irving missed most of the season because he wasn'tvaccinated against COVID-19. Ben Simmons, who didn't play the entire season, was brought back in a trade that brought back Harden, who was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Boston was the better team in the first round of the playoffs because of the lack of stability. Although the Celtics lost to the Warriors in the NBA Finals, they were able to use that as motivation.

The Nets had a lot of noise surrounding them during the off-season, as the futures of both Irving and KD were central talking points.

The Nets and the point guard decided to remain committed to each other despite the fact that he requested a trade and even offered something of an ultimatum to the general manager and head coach.

Brooklyn will be the center of attention throughout the upcoming season before a potential second-round game with Boston.

It is difficult to believe that this group will be able to defeat the Celtics and other Eastern Conference teams if they are not on the court together.

It could lead to an even worse experience in the future.
