According to Apple, there is no need for a repair for a strange issue that causes the rear camera to vibrate.
The camera on the iPhone 14 Pro is vibrating.
When asked if customers who already experienced the issue on their new iPhone should visit an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider, Apple suggested that the issue does not cause permanent hardware damage.
An Apple spokesman told MacRumors that a fix would be released next week. It's possible that the fix will be included in the next software update for the device.
Some users have noticed that the rear camera's main/ bottom lens vibrates uncontrollably when the camera is opened in apps such as TikTok, and that the lens makes a rattling sound.
The issue resulted in the main lens on the Pro Max being unable to focus properly, even in the Camera app. It's not clear if there was any permanent damage to the device Miani took to an Apple Store to exchange for a new one.
The underlying cause of the issue is not known. It is possible that the stabilizer on the main lens is acting up for some reason, but this is only speculation. It should be fixed in a day or two.
It's not clear if next week's update will address the camera and AirDrop bugs that have been found on the new phones.
