Changes are being made to American Airlines' network.
The addition of another route from Austin brings the total to nearly 50 from the Texas capital.
The airline will begin service from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to the Memphis International Airport on January 10th.
The new route will be flown by Envoy Air on a 76-seat Embraer E175, which features 12 first-class recliners, 20 extra-legroom Main Cabin Extra seats and 44 standard Main Cabin seats.

The route will run once a day.
The Austin-to-Memphis service is one of the things American is adding.
The airline had previously planned to fly the routes in November, December and January. There will be daily flights between January 10 and May 4, 2023.
American has been expanding in Austin recently. The airline added 10 new routes from the fast-growing metro area. Austin has become something of a focus city for the airline after they added a number of additional routes.

A new 15,000- square-foot Admirals Club was unveiled last year by American. There will be a variety of seating areas, locally inspired art installations and live music.
The Caribbean service will be affected by the changes the carrier is making.
On four flights, the airline will stop service.
The reason for cutting the routes is reduced demand. From other domestic hubs, the carrier will continue to serve each area.
Travelers heading south of the border can take solace in the fact that it isn't all bad. A new route to Mexico was added in the schedule update.
On January 10, the carrier will start connecting Phoenix with a new nonstop flight to Mexico. Envoy Air will operate the new daily service.
