The funeral of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II took place in London on Monday. A display of ceremony unseen in the U.K. in decades was marked by the state funeral.

The King and Queen Consort and other members of the British royal family gathered in London to pay their respects to the late queen. The remains of Britain's longest-serving monarch will be laid to rest on Monday.
