"We recently experienced a network intrusion in which an unauthorized third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from our systems, including footage for the next Grand Theft Auto," the statement said.

A user with the screen name "teapotuberhacker" uploaded over 90 videos from "Grand Theft Auto VI" to the internet on Saturday. The videos were seen by a lot of people.

The hacker gave contact information and a note that said he was looking to negotiate.

The hacker took credit for the hack.

"Grand Theft Auto" is one of the best selling games of all time. "Grand Theft Auto V" is the second-best selling game of all time, according to Take-Two.
