The late Queen of England had the same birthday as the 96-year-old woman.

The first letter was written when Elizabeth was crowned. Hankey received handwritten birthday letters from the late Queen, making it a birthday tradition, according to the outlet.

Hankey said he could have jumped out of his shoes. She said she wanted a hat. She was supposed to send me one. She sent a photo on her birthday.

Hankey said that the two never met but shared a love for cooking.
