  • A group of people from Texas were flown to California.

  • They don't know who bought the tickets for them.

  • The men were helped with food and shelter by the advocacy group.

Many unanswered questions surround a group of migrants who were flown to northern California from Texas.

A group of people from Venezeula arrived in Sacramento on two different flights. They had to walk barefoot from the airport to the charity.

The group was directed to an office building for Catholic Charities, which provides social services to people in need.

The men were connected to a city food bank after contacting NorCal Resist.

A volunteer for the organization gave them food and lodging at a local hotel after picking them up.

One of the men, who was not named in the report, said that they were taken to a Migrant Resource Center in San Antonio, Texas, after leaving their home country.

The man said that someone offered them free plane tickets to Sacramento and they couldn't choose their destination.

They weren't sure what to think. Two of them said they wanted to go to Utah and one of them wanted to go to Manhattan, but they ended up in the same place.

As a result of President Joe Biden's border policies, GOP-led states are increasing the transportation of migrants to sanctuary cities.

Dozens of people from Florida were flown to Martha's Vineyard. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has been sending busloads of migrants to other major cities. Their actions have caused a lot of backlash from Democrats.
