 DFS advice for Week 2

J.K. Dobbins is inactive due to his knee injury.

Impact: The Ravens have no reason to risk a potentially longer-term injury here. Kenyan Drake benefits.

Groin is active.

Impact: Terrace Marshall Jr. is ready to challenge him for WR3 snaps. Laviska Shenault Jr. is again a healthy inactive.

Swift is active with an ankle injury.

Impact: If there's any issue at all during the game, Jamaal Williams is surely going to get extra snaps.

Michael Pittman Jr. is a wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts.

Impact: Expect Parris Campbell to get a lot more playing time.

Alec is out due to a concussion.

Impact: Kylen Granson was targeted a lot last week and could see extra looks again.

Wilson is an active player.

Impact: He got some practice in toward the end of the week, so there's optimism he can play a full 60 minutes.

Pierre Strong Jr. is an active running back.

Impact: Strong could be a factor on third downs, given that Ty Montgomery is now on IR.

Jameis Winston is an active quarterback.

Impact: Given all the injuries in this backfield, even though he's going to start, we'd avoid Winston in Week 2.

No: Ribs are inactive.

Impact: Being held out of practices wasn't exactly a good sign. Hopefully, he'll be good to go in Week 3.

There is a running back with an ankle who is active.

Impact: At least Ingram saw some reps this week. He should be ready to step into Kamara's shoes.

The running back is active.

Impact: He may have to share any leftover touches with Tony Jones Jr.

Smith is inactive due to a shoulder injury.

Impact: Rookie Chris Olave has already surged past him on the WR depth chart.

Wan' Dale Robinson has a knee injury.

Impact: With the rookie hurt, Richie James could again join Kenny Golladay and Sterling Shepard in some 3-WR sets.

Kadarius Toney is an active player.

Impact: Fortunately, he is indeed able to help out on the receiving end of things.

The quarterback for NYJ is out with a knee injury.

Impact: Veteran Joe Flacco will get another chance to hold off Mike White as Wilson's short-term replacement.

C.J. Uzomah is an inactive player.

Impact: Tyler Conklin enters the streaming mix at the TE position.

Fournette is active.

Impact: After being able to practice twice late in the week, we're not surprised to see Fournette suiting up.

Chris Godwin is out of the game.

Impact: Godwin might be out multiple weeks with this injury.

Jones is inactive due to a knee injury.

Impact: Missed two practices this week, and clearly wasn't ready for this one.

Mike Evans is an active player.

Impact: Got hurt Wednesday, but was able to practice Friday. With Jones and Godwin out, he'll be relied upon heavily.

Breshad Perriman has a knee that's active.

Impact: With all these other WR injuries around him, he might be a Week 2 factor.

Russell Gage is an active member of the football team.

Impact: As with Perriman, anybody who can suit up for the Buccaneers today has a chance to shine.

Defense

Marcus Peters has a knee injury.

Groin is active.

Amani Oruwariye is inactive.

De Forest Buckner is an active defensive player.

The back of the LB is out.

Kenny Moore II is an active player.

Raekwon McMillan is an active LB.

The knee of Kayvon Thibodeaux is inactive.

The Appendix -- OUT is used for CB, NYG.

John Franklin-Myers is from the state of New York.

Jordan was active with his ankle.

Kamren Curl, S, WAS was inactive.

Offense

Andy Isabella is a receiver for the Arizona football team.

Impact: Greg Dortch, a Week 1 surprise, gets another chance to audition for more targets.

Rondale Moore is out due to a hernia.

Impact: Marquise Brown should get some extra attention from Kyler Murray.

Damien Williams is a running back for the Atlanta Falcons.

Impact: Rookie Tyler Allgeier, inactive in Week 1, could get a chance to step up.

The concussive nature of the injury makes it questionable.

Impact: He is expected to be cleared from the league's concussion protocol prior to Sunday's game.

The quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys has a thumb.

Impact: To call Cooper Rush a downgrade at quarterback is a huge understatement.

Michael Gallup left the game with a knee injury.

Impact: Noah Brown would be a risky flex play, given the QB situation.

The receiver for the Denver Broncos is out with a knee injury.

Impact: Tyrie Cleveland did very little in a sub role for Hamler in Week 1.

Van Jefferson was out with a knee injury.

Impact: Allen Robinson II and Ben Skowronek continue to get small value bumps.

Velus Jones Jr. is doubtful with his hamstring.

Impact: Byron Pringle and Equanimeous St. Brown will compete for any targets that might have gone his way.

Allen Lazard's ankle is questionable.

Impact: It's not a clear-cut call and he's currently expected to play, but you may be best served by starting someone else this week.
