'The View' Alum Meghan McCain Says Her Replacement Alyssa Farah Griffin's Father is a 'Homophobe and Racist'

When it comes to her replacement on The View, McCain isn't mincing words. McCain spoke for the first time about one of the new conservatives on the panel. The daytime talk show has never had conservatives at the table. McCain doesn't know her personally but she doesn't like the man who raised her daughter.

McCain calls Griffin’s father a homophobe and racist

McCain gave her opinion on the new co- host during a chat with Andy Cohen. She comes from a controversial past. McCain told Cohen that her father is a racist.

“He’s actually the person that invented Obama’s birtherism. So that’s what I know about her. And that’s not necessarily a reflection of her — again, I don’t know her,” she added.

McCain said that her father is known in political circles because of his extreme views. I'm not going to be in those circles that she ran in, or anyone who worked in the White House.

The father of her is a man. His daughter has criticized him in the past.
