According to the Financial Times, the global wealth management division of the Swiss bank is looking for content reviewers to make sure that its research is free of any sensitivities.
Reviewers will check the language, tone and content of the reports to make sure they are in line with the guidelines.
The person close to the hiring process told the newspaper that one reviewer has been hired in Hong Kong and more are on the way.
The top economist at the Swiss bank was put on leave for three months in the middle of the year because of a comment he made about the effect of a pig virus on Chinese consumer prices.
A person close to the bank said that other banks have the same type of editors under different jobs. The Financial Times said that the bank declined to comment.
