Everyone on this Southwest Airlines flight got a ukulele and lessons on how to play it

There were 175 passengers on Southwest flight 2272 from Long Beach Airport to Honolulu.

In a partnership with Guitar Center, passengers on this Hawaii-bound flight were given a travel-sized Mitchell Soprano ukulele, a Road Runner carrying case, and a goody bag.

The first-ever inflight ukulele class was offered to passengers.

The Guitar Center Lessons instructors from Hawaii taught passengers how to play the ukulele, a musical instrument associated with Hawaii and Hawaiian music.

The ukulele is an easy to learn instrument. Passengers were invited to join a group lesson with the goal of playing the song "Hello, Aloha" as they set off. Together, how are you?

The educational affairs specialist for Guitar Center Lessons has never taught in an airplane. Many passengers with no musical background picked up the ukulele quickly. It shows how easy it is to learn a new thing.
