It looked like Lancashire was going to win when Steven and Keaton were in top form.
They were all out for a total of 285.
Nathan Gilchrist ended Danny Lamb's resistance on the square-leg boundary after the man of the match, Evison, had removed George Lavelle.
Kent were allowed to post their fifth 300-plus total in nine matches in this season's competition.
When Kent finally secured victory, after eight straight List A final defeats, the man who was playing his final game for them was off the field with an injury.
There's more to come.
