It is fun to see who pops up in the various Star Wars movies. 
According to reports, Barnett is in final negotiations to join the show. He will be working with Acolyte creator Leslye Headland if the deal goes through. There is no information about who Barnett will be playing, but his role is said to be a support one.
The Acolyte is a show about a century before The Phantom Menace and is set in the High Republic. With the promise of a focus on Dark Side users of the Force, who have not gotten an opportunity to be the focus point of a Star Wars story before, the current cast is an intriguing roster of actors. It is said to be a mystery-thriller, something that the franchise only tries to do in some books or episodes of Clone Wars, making this even more exciting.
The Acolyte's cast also includes Amandla Stenberg and Jodie Turner-Smith, and is expected to be released on Disney+ in the year 2023.
