iFixit is selling repair kits for 20 percent off through September 30th, so you can fix your phone yourself. All of iFixit's screen and battery repair kits are included in the promo. The cost of a battery replacement on the iPhone 12 Pro at iFixit is $9 off compared to Apple's price.

iFixit's free online guides are extensive enough that even first-timers should be able to get through the process with minimal risk. There is no better feeling than knowing you saved money on a project and helped keep a good device out of a landfill. If you replace your battery or screen, add a new wallpaper, and treat yourself to a new case, it will feel like a brand new phone again.
