  • There are pro-Kremlin officials in the occupied territories.

  • At least one official was killed in an attack in Kherson.

  • The attacks have not been taken responsibility for by the Ukranian government.

The latest apparent attack on authorities in occupied territories is said to have taken place in Kherson, where pro-Kremlin collaborators were meeting.

Russian state TV reported that Kirill Stremousov, the Russian-installed deputy leader of Kherson, said that US-supplied rockets hit his office on Friday.

The smoke from the damaged building can be seen in the videos.

Stremousov said that it was too early to say how many people had been killed and injured.

According to Russian media, the labor minister for Kherson, Alla Barkhatova, said she was injured in the attack and her driver was dead.

The prosecutor-general of the Luhansk People's Republic and his deputy were killed in an explosion at their office on Friday.

Both attacks have been labeled "terrorist" by the Kremlin.

Mykhailo Podolyak, a senior adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, denied that the country was behind the Luhansk explosion.

The city of Berdyansk has been the site of attacks on officials.

There have been sporadic reports of attacks on occupation officials, but they have not typically been on such a large scale or used long-range weapons.

In the southern region of Kherson, as well as in the Kharkiv region, a successful counteroffensive is being waged by the Ukrainians.
