Chris Christie was mocked by Donald Trump on his social media platform.

On Friday, Trump shared an image of a man leaning over a buffet counter, with the caption: "Chris Christie at a Roy Rogers at 11PM in the evening trying to console himself."

It's unclear who the man in the picture is, or if it is indeed Christie, but it seems that the former president chose the image and the caption to suggest that his former friend is overweight.

Last month, Trump asked his Truth Social followers "Why are people so mean?".

Christie has been the target of attacks on his appearance throughout his career.

He said "I could be talking about the Iran nuclear deal, and I'll get a response from someone on email or Facebook or wherever."

Christie was accused of body-shaming and fat-shaming in his Truth Social post.

Christie gave an interview to ABC News' "This Week" last Sunday in which he discussed the FBI raid on Trump's Florida country club, Mar-a-Lago.

11 sets of classified documents were taken during the FBI's raid of Mar-a-Lago. According to The Washington Post, some of the documents may have concerns about nuclear weapons.

Christie said it was important to think about why the DOJ carried out the raid in the first place.

He said that the Justice Department had a good chance of appealing the federal judge's ruling.

The independent lawyer tasked with sifting through the thousands of classified documents found in Florida will be named on Friday. The judge needs to present his findings by the end of the month.
