The social media feeds are no longer chronological. The sequence of the posts is shuffled up by an algorithm into a different experience. This doesn't have to be the case.

Some of the biggest social media platforms have a feature that gives power to users. Don't expect the changes to be permanent; you'll need to repeat the steps each time you use the social media platform. There will be ads in the posts. Maybe the sequence of content isn't what's making you unhappy, and it's time for a clean slate. WIRED has a guide to deleted your social media accounts.

On the social media site.

You used to be able to take pictures of your dinner and aesthetic vacations on the platform. Although the app now pushes short video content, users may be in luck if they want to scroll through their main feed. You can make your account chronological on the mobile app. The only thing you need to do is to click the logo at the top left of the screen and choose following. When the app is reopened, the change may need to be repeated.

On the social networking site.

Facebook is a pioneer when it comes to shuffling social media posts into a confusing feed. You can find the tabs on the left of the screen if you start at your home screen. Click See more, scroll a bit, and then tap on Most Recent to adjust your timelines. Do you want to change your mind? The Back to top posts button can be found above the status prompt.

Click the Menu on the bottom right corner if you want to choose Feeds. Every post is shown in order. To see sequential content from Favorites, Friends, Groups, or Pages, you need to switch over to Favorites, Friends, Groups, or Pages. On the social networking site.

It was originally conceived as a form of microBlogging. Artists showcasing professional portfolios are just some of the things that users encounter on the social networking site. You can see all the weird, funny, and frustrating posts by tapping on the sparkle icon at the top of the screen. You can turn it off by clicking on the switch in the top right corner of the screen.

There is a song called TikTok.

There is a page on TikTok called For You. Although it makes sense for TikTok not to have a chronological version of the FYP, users who bounce over the Following tab in hopes of seeing posts from their favorites in chronological order will be disappointed. Clicking on someone's profile page is the closest you can get to sequential watching. The videos are listed in chronological order with the newest ones at the top.

On the video sharing website.

It's not the first social media platform to come to mind when looking for sequential posts, but it's easy to find the latest videos from your subscribed channels. You can access the Subscriptions section on your smart TV or the mobile app. The Subscriptions tab can be used to stay up to date with channels that frequently post new videos.
