Dennis Schrder agreed to a one-year deal with the Lakers.

Shams Charania of Stadium and The Athletic says that Schroder will make over $2 million in the 2022-23 season.

In February of last year, he was acquired from the Boston Celtics along with Bruno Fernando and Enes Freedom in exchange for center Daniel Theis. Schrder signed a one-year contract for $5.9 million.

He was limited to 15 games in Houston due to a shoulder injury and was ruled out for the season on March 29. In 64 games between the Celtics and the Astros, he averaged 13 points, 3.3 rebound and 4.5 assists.

A nine-year veteran out of Germany, he was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks with the 17th pick in the 2013 NBA draft. He has a career average of 14.2 points.

During his last stint with the Lakers, Schrder averaged over 15 points and over 6 assists per game.

He showed interest in returning to social media after a year away.
