According to Shams Charania of Stadium and The Athletic, the Los Angeles Lakers will sign Dennis Schroder.

In February of last year, he was acquired from the Boston Celtics along with Bruno Fernando and Enes Freedom in exchange for center Daniel Theis. He signed a one-year contract for $5.9 million.

He was limited to 15 games in Houston due to a shoulder injury and was ruled out for the season on March 29. In 64 games between the Celtics and the Astros, he averaged 13 points, 3.3 rebound and 4.5 assists.

A nine-year veteran out of Germany, he was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks with the 17th pick in the 2013 NBA draft. He has a career average of 14.2 points.

During his last stint with the Lakers, Schroder averaged over 15 points and over 6 assists per game.

He showed interest in returning to social media after a year away.
