Trump said he meant problems.

They would have a lot of problems. There are big issues. They wouldn't stand for it. Trump said that they wouldn't stand for this ultimate of hoaxes.

If the DOJ indicts Trump, it isn't the first time Republicans have mentioned civil unrest. Lindsey Graham made headlines last month when he said there would be riots in the street if Donald Trump was indicted. Graham was accused of being irresponsible andshameful. The South Carolina senator's comments were said to be dangerous by the White House.

The former president was asked how he would respond when the media accused him of inciting violence.

It is not inciting. "I'm just saying what my opinion is." I don't believe the people of this country would support it.

On Capitol Hill, senior FBI and DHS officials briefed members of the Senate Judiciary and Homeland Security committees on the rise in threats against federal law enforcement. When it came to the threats, the senators said the trend was clear.

The number of threats that have been cataloged since the Aug. 8 search of Mar-a-Lago was "staggering," according to Senate Judiciary Chair Dick Durbin. The environment is more dangerous because of the political statements made by some individuals.

The threats ranged from explicit to more generalized on social media. He criticized Trump for his words.

The mob was invited back to the streets on January 6, 2021. The president knew what he was doing. The consequences of his careless rhetoric.

Rick Scott, a Trump ally and member of the Homeland Security Committee, said that the Justice Department needed to be more transparent about the justification for the search.

Scott said that attacks on law enforcement should be condemned. They raided the former president's house. They're aware of the conspiracy theories. It is necessary to convince people that they are not right.

Last month, the FBI searched Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida. According to a Justice Department court filing released in August, prosecutors obtained a search warrant for the estate after receiving evidence that there was an attempt to hide classified documents. Dozens of empty folders with classified markings were recovered by agents.

An outside review of the seized documents is currently being considered by the DOJ and Trump's lawyers.

The Justice Department may have overstepped in its dealings with the former president according to one of Trump's allies. He left the possibility that the investigation could uncover material that would justify an indictment.

Many on the right believe that the DOJ and the FBI have been less than impartial in their dealings with Trump. Graham said that the law is going to be about politics and that nobody is above the law. Let's wait and see what they come up with. I have an open mind when it comes to what they find, but they need to justify what they find with something.

Trump continued to use the defense that he declassified everything he took to Mar-a-Lago, a claim his legal team has not yet made in court.

It's not out of character for Trump to say he's going to kill people. The president told the crowd to fight harder against bad people and to show strength when he spoke on January 6, 2021. His comments that day have been a focal point of the investigation into the president and his inner circle.
