I think my mom enjoyed watching those passions blossom because she let us spend so much time with her. He said that the happy memories of those times have become precious to everyone.
Edward said that his family had learned to share their parents with the public.
He said that it was time to allow others to say their farewell and that it had been nice to have spent time saying our own farewell privately. The queue to pay respects to the Queen can take up to 12 hours to complete.
Edward said that his brother, Charles, would inherit the baton she has carried for 70 years.
Edward is the younger brother of King Charles III. After walking behind the Queen's coffin in Edinburgh, Charles, Edward, Princess Anne, and Prince Andrew went to St Giles' Cathedral to attend a memorial service.
The funeral of the Queen will take place on September 19th. The royal family are going to participate in a procession.
