Reachability support for the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max makes it easier to access with one hand.
Tech-Up shared a first look at how Dynamic Island works with Reachability, which was spotted by 9to5 Mac.
The lower the top half of the screen, the easier it is for you to reach it. It is possible to enable the feature in the settings app. On the bottom edge of the screen is where the feature can be used. The upper half of the screen is where you can return to a regular view.
The Dynamic Island is not compatible with Reachability on earlier versions of the software.
Dynamic Island can show system notifications for incoming phone calls, Face ID, Apple Pay, AirDrop, and car keys in the Wallet app. It will be possible to use Live Activities in third-party apps when the new version of the software is released later this year.
