David Beckham was among the long line of people waiting to pay respects to Queen Elizabeth II.
The soccer player told the broadcasters that he was a huge fan of the royal family and wanted to pay his respects to the Queen. The casket of the monarch, who died aged 96 on September 8, was brought there from Buckingham Palace on Wednesday and will stay until her funeral on Monday.
Beckham said he thought he could avoid crowds if he joined the queue at 2 a.m.
