Isaac Paredes crushes his 19th HR of the season (0:26)

In the top of the seventh, Paredes hits a home run to left field to extend the lead. There is a time and a place.

It was the first time in history that nine Latin American position players were in the same game on the same day.

The Puerto Rico native was a two-time World Series winner and the National League's Most Valuable Player. Cuba, Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic are some of the countries where the starting position players of the Blue Jays come from.

YandyDiaz, who hit a three-run home run, was very happy. The Latino community is putting a mark on the game of baseball.

Randy Arozarena, David Peralta, Rene Pinto, and Jose Siri were also present.

The bases coaches and all the starting pitchers wore the same number to honor the man. Nine players posed for a picture on the field after the game.

He wanted to put his jersey and lineup card in a frame to remember.

Kevin Cash said the lineup was based on the batter he wanted to face.

Cash said to load up the righties because they have a reverse split guy. They were all from the Latin side.

He hit a home run in the second quarter. Paredes hit a leadoff home run in the seventh, his 19th, to make it a five-point game. Arozarena had a single in the ninth and a three-run double in the sixth.

The last two games of the series were won by the Rays to pull within a half-game of the BlueJays in the wild-card chase.
