There is a leak about the upcoming chip and a high- performance variant.
We could see an "ultra-high Frequency" version of the new chip in 2023 according to the leaker. This chip could possibly reach clock speeds of 3.4- 3.5 GHz. This would be a bit higher than the one featured on some of the best phones in the world today, with a speed of 3.2 GHz.
The post suggests that the new chip may have more power than the new A16 chip from Apple. It's a bold claim.
We are assuming that the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip is going to be revealed at the upcoming Snapdragon Summit. An earlier leak suggested the new chip could have four different cores.
