The future of Call of Duty was shown off at the event. The first real details on the Warzone experience and its mobile counterpart were included in that, as well as another look at Modern Warfare II.
The most ambitious release in Call of Duty history will be called Warzone 2.0 and will launch on November 16th on consoles and PCs. The map is set in a fictional desert region called Al Mazrah and will include new features like having multiple circles appear and forcing players in different directions. The same engine was used to build the new Warzone.
The mobile version of Warzone is set to launch in 2023, and will include mobile-specific events, playlists, and content. There will be some connection between the two versions of Warzone as players can share many social features and cross-progression enabling a shared battle pass and more for a connected Call of Duty experience
Modern Warfare II will be released on October 28th. The game was released in June, and today, they shared more about it. The developer says the new mode will focus on team communication and coordination like never before. Third-person mode will be included in the game. On September 16th and September 22nd, players who have pre-ordered will be able to check it out for themselves.
