Charlie Crist supports the Department of Justice getting involved after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis used state funds to send people from Venezuela to Massachusetts.

The local church on Martha's Vineyard provided temporary housing for 50 migrants who arrived in two planes to the island. The move will make it harder for migrants to attend their hearings.

Crist was asked if the Department of Justice should take part in the virtual press conference. There needs to be justice here.

During a press conference in Niceville, Florida, he defended his actions as necessary to protect the state of Florida from the effects of Biden's border policies.

President Joe Biden has been slammed by a number of people. The Florida legislature allocated $12 million for the relocation of migrants to Biden's home state of Delaware.

He told them that we are not a sanctuary state. It is better to be in a sanctuary jurisdiction. We will help facilitate the transport for you to be able to move to a more eco-friendly place.

"Sanctuary cities" are those that refuse to comply with immigration restrictions.

Crist compares DeSantis to Castro

Crist is the favorite to win the election. He said in his press conference that the migrants were being treated like socialists.

"Unfortunately, he's using human beings to try to make political points like he's already a dictator," Crist said. Crist was talking about the man who was the prime minister of Cuba.

I'm very cautious about who I identify people with or compare them to, but I'm hearing from Hispanic radio in South Florida that it's a good idea to say it in this way. They're probably correct.

Crist refused to say how he would differ from DeSantis on immigration policy other than to say he would be "humane" and do the opposite of what he did.

He wouldn't ship them like animals. I wouldn't do that The congressman is willing to do that. That's what's different.

Crist said he would have kept them in Florida and treated them well.

The migrants arrived on Martha's Vineyard, a wealthy island where former President Barack Obama lives, according to several news outlets.

When asked by Insider if the actions of the governor were appropriate, Scott demurred.

He said you would have to ask.

Scott wants the federal government to finish building the wall on the US-Mexico border and enforce its asylum laws.

Scott wanted the Biden administration to secure the border. The entire country has become less safe because of the border.

Florida is not the first state to take in immigrants. Texas sent over 6,000 people to Chicago, New York City, and Washington, DC.

The governor of Texas sent two buses of migrants to the vice president's house after she said the border was secure. Migrants have been bused to New York, Chicago, and Washington, DC.

Two buses of migrants arrived at the Naval Observatory in DC. Abbott, who is up for reelection in November, wrote that VP Harris claims our border is secure. Migrants will be sent to her backyard to call on the Biden Administration to secure the border.

Republicans say that Biden's immigration policies are to blame for a surge in border crossing.

He said Biden should do his job.

He said that border towns have struggled to provide aid and that other communities should be sharing in the burdens.

The minute a small amount of what those border towns deal with every day is brought to their front door, they go crazy.

Crist said in his press conference that he was on the wrong side of history. He said that the actions underscored why we need a change.

He can voice a problem with any policy of the Biden administration. He doesn't have to make a political statement in this way.
