Stan Lee's strange version of Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Shazam, and more lunge at the reader.

People think of Stan Lee when they think of the comic book company. He has made appearances in many of the biggest movie blockbusters of all time. Stan the Man used to create his own projects when he didn't work for the company. When Lee collaborated with DC Comics, it was the most shocking thing to happen. DC is bringing back "Just Imagine" for Lee's 100th birthday.

It was shocking when it was announced that Stan Lee would be working with DC. It was similar to learning that McConnell would be campaigning for Democrats. It was even more shocking to find out that Lee had different versions of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and so on. Batman resembled Man-Bat in appearance. Water was used to make the superhero. She got her powers from a hummingbird. There was a person named the Sandman. The characters were strange.

It was cool to see DC honor a man who helped create the modern comics industry, even though they haven't announced anything. Tales from Earth 6: A Celebration of Stan Lee will be a 96-page prestige comic with new tales of Lee's heroes as told by people like MarkWaid. Each variant cover of the one-shot will have a picture of a reimagined hero. They are quite strange. To see them all, click through.
