Lauren Boebert confused the words "wanton" and "wonton" while reading from the Bible.

"wanton killing" is a word from Romans that means reckless killing. She said it was like the Chinese dumplings.

The slip-up with "gazpacho" and "Gestapo" took place earlier this year. In February, Nancy Pelosi was accused of confusing a cold Spanish soup with the Nazis' secret police.

Boebert's gaffe made people laugh online.

One person wrote that Wonton killing was a shameful abuse of the civil right.
