In September, Apple launched the new iPhone 14 lineup, the second-gen AirPods Pro, and more.

Apple is still going strong for the rest of the year. There will be one last product launch in 2022, and we will see the emphasis shift to more powerful devices such as Macs and iPad. We expect a lot from this rumored event so far.

Tim Cook Apple Event 2021

There was a late fall event last year. October 13 and October 18 were the previous years. Apple usually holds an event in October.

The most likely dates are October 18 or October 25. It's possible that October 4 or 11 are also on the table because the iPhone event was held earlier this year.

The events usually begin at 10 a.m. They can be seen on Apple.com and on the internet.

iPad Pro with M2

The M2 MacBook Pro 13-inch and MacBook Air were announced at the beginning of the year. The chip is moving to the iPad Pro. The most likely product to make an appearance is this update.

The newer MacBooks and iPad Pros have MagSafe 3 charging ports. The 11-inch iPad Pro won't get the mini-LED display that the iPad Pros will.

The Mac Pro will get an update by the end of the year. The Mac needs an updated Mac Pro to complete the transition to Apple Silicon. At an event earlier this year, Apple said it would be talked about at a future event.

The M2 Extreme configuration is expected to be used in the Mac Pro. There is a proposal that a chip like this would have to make two M2 Ultra chips.

There is a chance that Apple could release an updated Pro Display XDR along with a new Mac Pro in the near future.

At Apple's October event last year, the new MacBook Pro was unveiled. The most powerful machines in the MacBook lineup will get an update if the rumors are correct.

A MacBook Pro with the M2 Pro and M2 Max is expected to show what Apple can do with these new chips. There won't be any significant changes to the design.

iPad (10th-gen)

The iPad has been an odd duck in the lineup. Even though it hasn't been moved to the M1, it still has a home button. It is rumored that it is getting an update with a slightly bigger screen. The 10th-gen iPad is supposed to transition from the old port to the new one.

Is it also going to be bumped to an M1 or M2? Since the more expensive iPad Air is still using the M1, we will have to wait and see.

Mac mini with M2

The Mac mini was not included in the initial release. The original M1 Mac mini was launched with the M1 MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 13-inch.

It would make a lot of sense for Apple to release the M2 to the Mac mini since the Mac studio is out. We don't think there will be any major changes, but if the October event ends up being about the M2 and the Mac mini, we think there will be a boost to the Mac mini.

It seems like we won't get any big surprises from the event because all the Macs and iPad are through. There could be room for a preview of a brand new update. The Apple Reality headset could be coming soon.

Since Apple really needs to get developers on board to make the product a success, it would make more sense to have an event like the World Wide Developers Conference. There is a rumor that the Apple Reality headset is close to being ready to show off, and the timing of the Meta Quest Pro announcement would make for quite the comparison.
