On Wednesday, Rodriguez stole his 25th base of the season to lead the Seattle M's to a 6-1 victory over the San Diego Padres and a split of the four-game series.

Rodrguez has 25 stolen bases and 25 homers in his first season, making him the third rookies in league history to have at least 25 stolen bases and 25 homers. Rodriguez reached the 25/25 mark in his first season. Young and Trout were considered rookies when they reached the majors.

I don't think I'm a new person. Rodriguez said that he's happy that he's able to deliver for the team whenever he wants.

Rodrguez became just the fourth player to reach 25 home runs and 25 stolen bases in a season when he stole a base. Ronald Acuna Jr., Trout and Andruw Jones were born in the same year.

One of the cool things I've seen in a while is when he's at second base after the 25th stolen base and the crowd is on its feet and they put the thing on the board. It's about the baseball team." That's Rodrguez, that's him.

Rodrguez checked another box on his growing list of accomplishments when he hit his fourth leadoff home run of the season. He hit the first pitch thrown by Clevinger for his 26th home run of the year.
