  • The king of Jordan was once offered the occupied West Bank by Trump.

  • The king thought he was having a heart attack after Trump offered, according to the book.

  • The West Bank cannot be given to anyone by the US government.

According to a forthcoming book, "The Divider: Trump in the White House 2017- 2021," President Donald Trump offered to give the occupied West Bank to Jordan's King Abdullah II in January of last year.

The West Bank was not for sale. The US government can't give the occupied West Bank to someone else. The Israel-Palestine conflict is the most complicated and contentious dispute in the world.

The book was written by Peter Baker, chief White House correspondent for The New York Times, and Susan Glasser, staff writer for The New Yorker.

I was not able to breathe. The book is scheduled to be released on September 20.

The West Bank is a part of Israel that has been occupied by the Palestinians for decades. The West Bank was part of Jordan. The West Bank has been occupied by Israeli forces since 1967.

Settlements have been established in the West Bank since the occupation began. Most of the world considers the settlements in the West Bank to be illegal.

The US government supports a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict and is opposed to settlements.

The goal was undermined by Trump's pro-Israel stance, which included moving the US embassy to Jerusalem. The US will no longer view settlements as inconsistent with international law as a result of the Trump administration's announcement in 2019.

The peace plan for the Middle East was released in 2020. The plan was quickly rejected by the Palestinian leaders.

The expansion of settlements in the occupied West Bank has been condemned by the Biden administration.
