A lawsuit was filed in San Francisco by aTesla owner who claims the company and its CEO are deceptive and misleading in their marketing of the Autopilot and Full Self-Driving features.

The filing claims that Musk deceived consumers by telling them that he was on the verge of perfecting his ADAS technology and that he was going to produce a fully self-driving car.

There are many drivers who have paid thousands of dollars for Enhanced Autopilot. There is a $15,000 software add-on package that is not ready to ship. The company is already facing a class-action lawsuit that targets the adaptive cruise control features on the company's cars for years.

The lawsuit criticizes the terminology used by the company, including the name "Autopilot", as well as Musk's statements regarding the Full Self-Driving system. A year from now, we'll have over a million cars with full self-driving, software... everything, according to Musk.

The road trip was put on hold indefinitely after Musk admitted that it would need a specialized route to work and that he preferred to have the team focus on safety features. The robot axis isn't a reality.

The lawsuit backs its claims of fraud by using a video that shows a Model X leaving a garage and driving through a city before finding a parallel parking spot. According to the former engineers, the car used a pre-charted and 3D mapped route that was not built into the production version of the vehicle.

The case that Full Self-Driving and autopilot are dangerous is made by the lawsuit. A Model X on autopilot crashed into a concrete barrier in California, killing the driver, and another Model X on autopilot crashed into the back of a fire truck, causing a federal investigation.

According to the lawsuit, he wants an injunction to stop the deceptive and misleading marketing of its ADAS technology, as well as the return of the money the class members paid for it, and all available damages.
