England became the first team in history to win 25 Tests in a row when they beat Wales in Bristol.

Six tries were scored by the Red Roses in the first half.

After the break, their dominance grew even more.

The last chance for both coaches to look at their players was at the last moment.

The squad for England and Wales will be announced on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

Both sides wore black during the national anthem to honor Queen Elizabeth II.

The crowd gave a rendition of God Save The King while the big screen showed a tribute and a minute's silence was held.

Rowland answers inside centre conundrum

England's last loss was against New Zealand in 2019.

Several members of the backline sparkled in their last bid for World Cup selection, as the forwards asserted an early dominance against the visitors.

She found every possible gap in the Welsh line as she answered the question of whether or not she should play inside centre.

The full-back showed good tactical sense by pinning Wales in the corner with a kick and eventually led to a penalty try for England.

It was not for everyone. The star fly-half, who has seemingly put all his faith in, was not as sharp as usual and the wing, Lydia Thompson, may have lacked the finishing ability of other competitors.

There is a chance that hooker Lark Davies has an injury after she hobbled off the field in the 35th minute.

At one point, Amy Cokayne offered backline speed to cut through the Welsh defence and set up the second try.

The run of 24 Tests previously set by Cyprus' men was surpassed by England, who had six players score.

Wales' set-piece concerns continue

Wales struggled with their set piece in their last game against Canada.

Wales' line-out went awry and their scrum was repeatedly pushed backwards as they played their first game against England since being made professional.

Gwen Crabb drove over the line for Elinor Snowsill to convert and give the travelling fans hope.

Carys Williams-Morris stepped into the scrum in Alex Callender's place after she was shown a yellow card.

With Wales down 45-7 in the second half, Callender was able to charge down a Scarratt conversion.

The inability to clear their lines with the boot added to the set piece troubles and resulted in a heavy defeat to England.
