Harrison Butker won't be playing in the game against the Los Angeles Clippers because of an ankle injury.

In Los Angeles' Week 1 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, the starting wide receiver for the Bolts was injured.

The Chiefs listed Butker as out, as did the Bolts with Allen and Parham Jr.

The Chiefs signed former New York Jets kicker Matt Ammendola to their practice squad and he could be added to their active roster in time for Thursday's game. Ammedola made 13 of 19 field goal attempts for the Jets last season.

Butker injured his ankle on a kick return during the game. The coach said the injuries to Butker and McDuffie were caused by the loose turf in Arizona.

McDuffie was put on injured reserve because of a injury.

Butker made three extra points and a field goal after he was injured. The safety went 1-of-2 on PAT's.

Allen, who has been selected to five Pro Bowls in his career, was not going to be able to play on Thursday. Allen left the game in the first half because of an injury.

With Allen out, expect more opportunities for receiver Joshua Palmer and others.
