  • A leak suggests Google is working on a smaller Pixel flagship device.
  • The proposed rumor says the phone would feature the standard front-facing hole-punch camera centered in the display.
  • A notable cutback with a smaller phone would be its battery size. The Pixel 6a already packs a 4,410mAh battery.

According to a recent leak, there is a possibility of a smaller flagshipPixel.

A Chinese Weibo leaker said that a small-screen machine was in the works and that it was being developed by the search giant. The chance of the device featuring a standard front-facing hole-punch camera in the center of the display is what's given. It's likely that it would be powered by the Tensor chip for flagship performance.

ThePixel 6a is a small phone that has a 6.1-inch display. Should the rumors be true, how much smaller would the company be?

It is worth taking it all with extreme caution because of the leak. The smaller the phone, the less it can cut back on components. The 4,410mAh battery in the Pixel 6a falls below some of the best budget phones in the world. The largerPixel 6 Pro has a 5,003mAh battery. It would shrink even more if it were a smaller phone than the 6a.

When it comes to small phones, the 6.1-inch display of the Pixel 6a matches that of many flagship phones launched this year. It's large enough to fit in the palm of a hand for single-handed use, but easy to carry around for content consumption.
