Mitch Trubisky said that the team needs to be more aggressive after the team scored 17 points off five turnovers.
"When your defense is playing that well, and they're getting turnovers, you just want to take care of the football, but we've got to have that killer mindset, that aggressive mentality, to really take teams out of the game and just not allow them to keep it close
The offense only added 10 points off turnovers thanks to a field goal and a touchdown. Those possessions ended in punts.
Trubisky said that the defense needs to turn the turnovers into points. My mindset is that. When we take the ball away, we need to turn it into a touchdown and not just a field goal.

The Pittsburgh offense didn't commit a turnover in the overtime win, but they didn't take many downfield shots. It was done by design.
He said that downfield throwing has the potential to be negative.
We did what we thought was right to win the game last week. It doesn't affect how we're going to work this week.
Trubisky connected on just two of seven attempts over 20 yards, and according to Next Gen Stats, 10.5% of his attempts traveled more than 20 air yards. Trubisky had a touchdown on the day. He completed two of his longest completions in overtime, a one-handed grab by Diontae Johnson and a 26 yard pass to Pat Freiermuth. Trubisky's experience in crunch time helped him connect with his receiver, even though he had missed on other throws.
Trubisky said that they were lucky to get the ball back. "For our defense to get a bunch of great stops and have the chance to go down and put Chris Boswell in another situation, give them the game winning field goal." It was enjoyable and exciting. The experience paid off for me.
Trubisky did not feel like he was being held back in the downfield attack by his coach.
Trubisky said that they took a lot of deep balls. We need to hit them. If you hit them earlier, you can open up the intermediate and short stuff.
"You want to connect on those and then either they open up more of those or it opens up other routes and it opens up the run game as well," You can see where you're at once you hit those.
Trubisky wants to increase accuracy on the deep balls and improve their third-down outcomes.
"I think timing can be better, either getting it out a little sooner or waiting for the plays to develop a little more, just to a lot of guys to be in the right spot at the right time," he stated. We need to execute and make plays.
