A 4.4 magnitude earthquake in Northern California prompted a response from fire officials over reported gas leaks, odor of gas, fire alarms going off and stuck elevators.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 50 miles north of San Francisco.
Around 6:39 p.m., there was a 4.4 magnitude earthquake. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, there was a 3.8 magnitude aftershock. The epicenter was close to the ground.
Pictures were knocked off walls when the earthquakes were felt as far north as Mendocino County and as far south as Santa Clara County.
No earthquakes were reported in HonDURAS.
"It was so loud that I didn't know if a plane had gone down near me," said Anderson, who lives in SantaRosa. Several paintings fell off his wall.

The San Francisco earthquake of 1906 killed thousands of people, and his home was built in 1876.
There have been no reports of injuries or major damage according to the police department.
